The Master of Education in Student Affairs in Higher Education (SAHE) equips graduate students for professional roles across diverse student services environments, including academic advising, student success initiatives, career counseling, diversity and inclusion advocacy (DEI), orientation programming, residential life, and student engagement. Participants can tailor their studies by selecting a generalist track or specializing in student success or leadership development. Marquette's SAHE program draws intellectually curious learners nationwide, creating a dynamic environment where varied viewpoints and experiences enrich discussions on applying theoretical knowledge to practical settings. Milwaukee's network of 13+ higher education institutions offers an immersive training ground for aspiring student affairs practitioners. A personal statement of purpose that includes professional and academic goals.
A resume that includes professional and educational experiences.
For International Applicants only: A TOEFL score or other acceptable proof of English proficiency.
An interview and/or writing test may be required of applicants following the initial screening.
An IELTS total score of 6.5 or higher will be required for admission.
TOEFL score of at least 213 on the computer-based version or 80 on the internet-based version (a minimum of 20 on each section).
The minimum acceptable undergraduate (or graduate, where applicable) GPA is 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
