Our Master of Arts in School Counseling program features diverse coursework, practical training, internships, and hands-on experiences that thoroughly prepare students for careers as school counselors. The curriculum covers human development, psychopathology, research methods, assessment techniques, counseling theories, ethical and legal considerations, along with individual, group, and school-based interventions. Students will gain expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive school counseling programs while completing their internship requirements. Counseling skill development starts during the initial semester, with internships typically commencing in the second year. This program equips graduates to create and execute school counseling programs that adhere to the standards set by the American School Counselor Association's National Model for School Counseling Programs.
