The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Doctor of Nursing Practice program equips graduates to serve as advanced practitioners caring for patients across the lifespan - from newborns and children to adults, pregnant women, and elderly populations. This comprehensive curriculum focuses on family-focused wellness initiatives, applying research-backed practices to enhance patient outcomes, offering personalized counseling, and addressing healthcare disparities in underserved communities. The program also develops future healthcare leaders by cultivating expertise in health policy, system-wide leadership, and financial management within healthcare organizations.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university with an overall minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
A current unencumbered RN license in the State of Michigan, or eligibility for same.
