Prepare for success before applying to medical school by joining the Stritch School of Medicine's nine-month Master of Science in Medical Physiology (MSMP) program, running from September through May. MSMP participants study first-year medical courses (including human body functions and anatomy) with faculty who are deeply involved in medical education—from teaching and clinical research to serving on Stritch's admissions committees. With intentionally limited class sizes (capped at 30 students per year), you'll receive personalized attention. Each student is paired with a faculty advisor to navigate the program and medical school applications. Remarkably, 99% of our MSMP graduates who apply to medical school receive acceptance.
Upon completing the program, graduates will demonstrate competency in:
Mastering advanced concepts and developing critical, transformative thinking skills.
Creating and sharing academic work. Upholding ethical standards and professional integrity.
Implementing social justice principles within broader communities.
