The Master of Science in Digital Advertising is a specialized graduate program that thoroughly examines both the analytical and creative aspects of digital marketing. This 30-credit curriculum is designed for learners passionate about investigating digital platforms and cutting-edge technologies like AI and machine learning to refine advertising approaches, techniques, and communication. Students will master the strategic use of digital media purchasing while developing compelling, analytics-based content to achieve business objectives. Additionally, the program explores ethical dimensions in consumer behavior, equipping students to make informed choices when developing advertising materials.
Applicants must submit official transcripts for all undergraduate and any graduate work. To be eligible for admission, your transcript must show an earned bachelor's degree or a bachelor's degree in progress. Certified copies of transcripts are acceptable; faxed copies of transcripts are not considered official. If you attended Loyola University Chicago previously, you do not need to request transcripts; we have them on record. Many students with undergraduate degrees in journalism, communications, advertising, and marketing have enrolled in the MSM program to advance their careers with additional credentials. Others with degrees in finance, economics, medicine, and engineering have chosen our program as a pathway to career change. The minimum acceptable total score on the Internet-Based Test (IBT) of the TOEFL exam is 90. The minimum acceptable total score on the IELTS exam is 6.5. The applicant ordinarily must have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
