The LSU School of Art provides photography concentrations within both the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Studio Art programs, along with an undergraduate minor option.

Those studying photography develop skills to produce compelling imagery while examining the medium's cultural significance. The program encourages students to cultivate and hone their artistic vision, using photographic methods as a means of creative expression. Qualification Requirements

A conferred baccalaureate (or equivalent) from a regionally accredited college or university by the expected date of entry into the graduate program. The Graduate School requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 GPA scale or in the last 60 credit hours in the previous undergraduate or graduate coursework.
