Pre-Veterinary Medicine - This specialized track centers on both livestock and pets, preparing students to fulfill prerequisite coursework and apply to LSU's Veterinary School by their third year. Upon acceptance into LSU's veterinary program, students will finish their final 40 credit hours there, earning a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences. If admission isn't secured during junior year, students can select an alternative concentration to complete their degree requirements in the fourth year and still obtain the same bachelor's degree.
