Alumni assist students in navigating various issues, mastering both individual and group counseling methods while gaining hands-on training through internships across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Completing this 48-credit program, along with two years of New York school counseling experience, qualifies graduates for permanent New York State certification as school counselors.
