The Master of Education (MEd) in Professional Counseling with a Clinical Mental Health focus is a 60-credit graduate program that qualifies graduates to apply for Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) status in New Jersey, marking the initial phase toward achieving full Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification. (Important: Applicants must pass the National Certification Exam to qualify for either LAC or LPC credentials.)
