This Pharm.D. degree is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a professional practice doctoral degree. Conolly College of Liberal Arts and Sciences) followed by four years of specialized professional training.
Significant transformations in healthcare are generating numerous innovative opportunities for pharmacists. Today's pharmacists not only ensure the safe distribution of medications but also serve as therapeutic advisors and care managers, taking on expanded patient-care duties.
New pharmacists must actively contribute to patient care teams, including making independent clinical decisions. They need expertise in researching scientific literature, applying pharmacokinetic models for dosage determination, creating personalized medication plans, effectively communicating with patients and healthcare providers, documenting pharmaceutical interventions while considering patient perspectives, analyzing treatment costs, and justifying services to healthcare payers.
Graduate Applicants must submit the Undergraduate transcripts.
English requirement: TOEFL: 79 and IELTS: 6.5
