Our Psychology Department offers a state-approved curriculum qualifying graduates to teach grades 9-12 in Illinois schools. This program, endorsed by the State Educator Preparation and Licensure Board and the Illinois State Board of Education, fulfills all psychology major requirements while incorporating secondary education certification. Students pursuing this track must complete dual majors in Psychology and Secondary Education. Consult with advisors in both Psychology and Education departments for course approvals and specific requirements.
