The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychological Science equips students with expertise in research methodologies for studying human cognition, brain functions, and behavior. Featuring specialized seminars and extensive practical research components, the BS curriculum fosters critical analysis, problem-solving abilities, and quantitative proficiency - essential foundations for pursuing doctoral studies in Psychology or other science-intensive fields like healthcare, education, business, or public administration.
Major admission requires completing 18 pre-major units. The program then demands 27 additional units combining coursework and research, covering Advanced Methods, Advanced Statistics, and specialized 400-level topics. Students also complete 9 research units gaining direct experience in psychological investigation techniques.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Graduates will possess comprehensive knowledge across three psychological research fields: social-personality studies, clinical psychology, and cognitive neuroscience - including fundamental theories and investigative approaches for each discipline.
Students will master historical and contemporary theories, research debates, and appropriate methodological/statistical techniques within their selected specialization.
Learners will acquire skills to interpret and assess scholarly research publications in their chosen focus area.
Participants will develop competence in formulating original hypotheses, designing methodologically sound studies, executing research protocols, and interpreting resulting data.
Students will cultivate innovative thinking by employing psychological frameworks and investigative tools to address individual, societal, and institutional challenges.
