Graduate students in Computer Engineering engage in pioneering research across diverse domains such as database systems, web search technologies, computer graphics, human-computer interaction, online platforms, digital media processing, computational biology, artificial intelligence, hardware design, automation, cybersecurity, networking, integrated systems, and wireless technologies. Additionally, faculty and students investigate cross-disciplinary computer science topics by partnering with peers across Lehigh University's departments, other academic institutions, and industrial research facilities. At Lehigh, these collaborative efforts span all four colleges, connecting with fields like life sciences, creative design, social sciences, business administration, market analysis, economic theory, pedagogy, as well as Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering departments.
