Graduate students in Computer Science engage in pioneering research across diverse domains such as database systems, web search technologies, computer graphics, human-computer interaction, online platforms, digital media processing, computational biology, artificial intelligence, hardware architecture, automation, cybersecurity, networking, IoT devices, and wireless technologies. Additionally, professors and students investigate cross-disciplinary computer science applications by partnering with peers across Lehigh's departments, other academic institutions, and industry research facilities. These collaborative efforts span all four colleges at Lehigh, connecting with fields like life sciences, creative design, social sciences, business administration, consumer behavior studies, economic theory, pedagogical research, alongside engineering disciplines including Civil/Environmental, Electrical/Computer, Industrial/Systems, and Mechanical Engineering.
