The two-semester senior capstone project involves designing, building, and testing an electrical engineering initiative. Past projects have motivated students to create innovations like a prize-winning hybrid electric vehicle, a thermal monitoring system for the Detroit Zoo's Reptile House, a light-sensitive robot, and a breath analyzer linked to a vehicle immobilizer.
Students must have high school equivalent. The following English proficiency test scores are required for students for whom English is a second language: 60 on the TOEFL iBT; 5.5 on the IELTS; 95 on the Duolingo English Test for undergraduate students.
