To excel in the classroom, secondary educators require a distinct set of skills that prepares them to instruct adolescent learners while also providing substantial expertise in their selected discipline, such as science, mathematics, English, history, art, or another field.
This curriculum offers the most current approaches, techniques, resources, and educational technologies for teaching students in grades six through twelve. You will study adolescent development and psychology and acquire comprehensive knowledge in your chosen teaching subject. Additionally, you will obtain practical classroom experience through a semester of supervised student teaching alongside an experienced educator.
Teacher certification, mandatory for public school instruction, differs by state. After finishing your coursework, you will qualify to take the certification examination for the state where you intend to teach.
Students must have 2.5 on a 4.0 GPA scale is required from secondary school. They must meet criteria for admission to university level study in home country. They should also satisfy the following English language requirements:
