The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education equips students with the skills to teach visual arts through student-focused teaching methods that nurture diverse forms of intelligence and artistic learning.

Art education professionals study child development to guide students through every stage of artistic creation—perception, imagination, formation, expression, and communication—by integrating various subjects, symbols, and concepts. They design and assess instructional activities for producing and interpreting art and design across historical and modern contexts. This includes employing multiple media formats, digital tools, and community assets while linking visual arts to other fields and evaluating student progress.
