The Exploratory pre-major provides an excellent chance for students to discover, participate, and thrive while purposefully selecting their academic path. Learners gain from the mentorship, counseling, and assistance available through the Exploratory Program. Starting in their first term, advisors collaborate with students to develop a customized Exploratory Plan.
The Exploratory pre-major isn't a degree program. Students need to choose a degree-granting major once they complete 45 credit hours at Kent State University.

Qualification Requirements
New first-year applicants must finish secondary school in their home country by the time of enrollment to be eligible for university (comparable to the completion of senior high school in the U.S.). A student who has previously enrolled in a post-secondary (higher education) institution is required to apply as a transfer student.
