Our department provides a NAAB-accredited five-year Master of Architecture (M.ARCH) program, designed for high school graduates and transfer students without prior design education. This professional degree program builds on the dual foundations of broad liberal arts education and specialized architectural training. We focus on developing expertise in the principles, techniques, and insights needed for skillful building and space design. Our faculty ensures students gain comprehensive knowledge of social, political, economic, and technological factors to prepare them as influential professionals in our evolving global landscape. Highlighting architecture's role in creating solutions for both individual and community needs, the curriculum features progressive design studios that comprehensively explore environmental design challenges. Supporting coursework in history, theory, human factors, construction methods, structural systems, urban planning, project development, and professional practice enhances the structured sequence of design studio experiences.
