The Post-Professional Master of Architecture program is designed for individuals who already possess an initial professional architecture degree (such as a B.Arch. or equivalent). Unlike NAAB-accredited programs, this advanced degree does not meet the educational criteria for architectural licensure in NCARB-compliant regions. Tailored for those seeking further specialization, the curriculum focuses on interdisciplinary design exploration, examining how cultural, political, economic, technological, and environmental factors collectively influence built environments - from interior spaces to urban landscapes.

Qualification Requirements

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is optional for applications to the M.Arch. I, M.Arch II, and MED programs. You are welcome to submit your scores if you feel it would support your application. If you choose not to take the GRE or submit scores, it will not affect the strength of your application and we will review all your other materials comprehensively. For information regarding the GRE test, test dates and locations, and/or to arrange to take the test, visit www.ets.org/gre. Although the test may be taken at any time, it should be taken no later than December preceding the application due date to be considered. In addition, applicants whose native language is not English are required to take the Internet-based test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT), a test that includes a section on spoken English (see Standardized Examinations in the chapter Admissions for further information).
