The Ed.D. in Special Education, provided by the Department of Special Education, Counseling, and Student Affairs, is supervised by at least five graduate faculty members. This team includes a primary advisor with significant expertise in the focus area, two additional faculty members specializing in the field, one faculty member from outside the student's specialization, and a faculty member appointed by the Graduate School Dean from another College of Education department who chairs the dissertation defense committee.
Every student's curriculum is customized in collaboration with their primary advisor and supervisory committee to best align with the student's interests, skills, and career objectives.
