K-State's criminology curriculum provides students with thorough expertise in criminal activities, victim experiences, and legal system functions, equipping them for diverse career paths. Those with criminology degrees pursue roles in areas like crime reduction, policing, correctional facilities, victim support, legal research, and similar sectors. Many criminology alumni also choose to further their education through advanced degrees or law school.
Our criminology alumni now hold positions in police departments, youth and adult detention centers, judicial courts, probation departments, investigative units, and various community rehabilitation initiatives.
