The Postbaccalaureate Pre-Medical & Pre-Health Professions Program provides college graduates with the chance to complete necessary coursework for admission to medical, dental, veterinary, nursing, or allied health graduate programs. This flexible program accommodates students needing either partial or full prerequisite requirements for healthcare-focused advanced degrees. Program length varies based on individual objectives. Participants must complete at least 22 credits in health sciences, with the option to transfer up to four credits from previous institutions. Some graduate programs may require additional coursework. Upon finishing 22 credits (including up to four transfer credits), students receive official program completion recognition. Qualified participants who meet credit minimums, GPA standards, and course prerequisites receive comprehensive academic assessments, including transcript reviews and faculty evaluations of graduate school preparedness. Instructors may optionally provide supplementary recommendation letters. All enrolled students benefit from personalized advising, tutoring, academic resources, and professional guidance characteristic of Johnson & Wales University's educational approach.
