The program culminates in a Master of Public Administration professional degree. Designed for both aspiring and experienced public service professionals, it equips pre-service students with essential competencies for managing government agencies at all levels and nonprofit organizations. Mid-career professionals can enhance their management expertise through this program. To accommodate working students, classes are scheduled exclusively during evening hours. Graduates actively participate in orientation and mentorship initiatives.
Administered by the Political Science Department, the MPA curriculum ensures students develop fundamental knowledge of public policy contexts and proficiency in handling:
Governmental and legal systems and procedures
Economic and social structures and their operations
Organizational theory, management principles, and personnel administration
Fiscal management and public finance methodologies
Analytical techniques (both quantitative and qualitative) for policy development, program execution, assessment, and strategic problem-solving
U.S. bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, or the completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized, accredited, and approved institution from a country outside of the U.S. A 2.5 GPA (from the 0.0-4.0 U.S. grading scale) in the last degree completed or a 2.5 GPA in the last two years of full-time study.
English Language Proficiency: IELTS: 6.5; TOEFL – 90 (IBT), paper based – 577, Computer based – 233; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 53.
