This full-time 18-month program offers two annual enrollment periods (fall or spring). Classes are scheduled for late afternoons and evenings, providing flexibility for students to complete daytime and weekend field placements. Instruction is available through various formats, including in-person, hybrid, and online delivery. Most courses are led by experienced full-time faculty with diverse specializations spanning clinical practice, school settings, addiction treatment, grief counseling, rehabilitation services, and social work.
Develop clinical competencies by applying theoretical knowledge to ethical client engagement and therapeutic interventions. Students gain practical experience through the counseling training lab and supervised clinical placements with licensed practitioners.
The 60-credit curriculum consists of 12 required courses, 4 electives, a practicum, and an internship. Fieldwork begins with a 100-hour practicum and progresses to a supervised internship, allowing students to implement professional skills in real-world settings.
