The Peabody Conservatory provides organ study programs for both graduate and undergraduate students.
Organ students and alumni from Peabody have earned numerous prestigious competition victories and awards, securing prominent roles in churches and music institutions. Our faculty members are highly respected within the organ community. In 1998, Peabody acquired a stunning custom-built Holtkamp organ specifically designed for Griswold Hall, the Conservatory's historic venue. With its Renaissance Revival design, Griswold Hall stands as one of the most exquisite spaces in the original conservatory structure. Focused instruction in Keyboard Ornamentation, Continuo Performance, Organ Literature, and Church Music equips students with comprehensive training for successful careers as professional organists. The Organ Department benefits from close ties to a vibrant Historical Performance program and a rich legacy in choral music and composition.
Students should have a bachelor degree.
