The School of Education and Division of Teaching, Learning, Leadership and Policy provides a doctoral program in Education focusing on educational leadership, organizations, and policy (ELOP). This Ph.D. program develops researchers who investigate critical issues in P-12 educational system leadership, organizational structures, and policymaking.
Faculty specializations encompass areas such as accountability frameworks, education policy analysis, ethical leadership practices, instructional leadership approaches, religious influences in education, rural schooling challenges, educational reform initiatives, and leadership for social equity.

Qualification Requirements

To apply to the Ph.D. in Education in the School of Education, you must meet the following minimum requirements for admission:
Undergraduate degree (e.g., B.A., or B.S.) from an accredited institution
Graduate degree (e.g., M.S., M.Ed.) from an accredited institution completed
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Applicants with a GPA below 3.0 may be admitted in exceptional cases
