A nationally recognized Master of Social Work program featuring distinguished faculty members who are leaders in their field. Hands-on practical training. For these compelling reasons and others, IUPUI's MSW program equips you for advancement in your career path. Our dual-degree options are designed to cultivate professionals capable of delivering both critical analysis and comprehensive insight to their field.

Prospective students must separately apply and gain admission to both the School of Public Health MPH program and the School of Social Work MSW program. After acceptance into this combined degree track, students should consult with their academic advisors to map out their course progression. The MSW/MPH dual degree offers concentrations in either Health Policy and Management (85 total credits) or Behavioral Health (82 total credits). This joint program enables students to finish both the MSW and MPH degrees within 4 to 5 years.
