This dual-degree program allows students to obtain a Master of Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill alongside a Master of Divinity from Duke University in Durham, N.C., spanning four consecutive years of full-time enrollment (eight semesters).
Typically, students commence their studies at Duke for the initial two years. The third year involves classes at UNC-Chapel Hill, while the final year combines coursework at both institutions. The program additionally incorporates four field education experiences - two at Duke (one in a congregational environment) and two at UNC-Chapel Hill.
Applicant must have Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent educational credential from another country.
The required minimum total score on the exams are internet-based TOEFL exam = 90, The IELTS exam = 7.
