Social work is an evolving field dedicated to addressing the shifting needs of people, families, communities, organizations, and society at large. For those drawn to this meaningful vocation, social work provides diverse opportunities across various environments: mental health centers, senior care facilities, medical institutions, educational settings, workplace support programs, family counseling services, and local outreach organizations. Beyond direct practice, social workers often take on leadership roles in social service administration. Their expertise extends to government positions at all levels, academic institutions, and some even pursue political or policy-making careers. The comprehensive training from a Master of Social Work (MSW) program equips graduates with versatile skills to navigate this wide professional landscape. Our School of Social Work's MSW program maintains accreditation from the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
Students eligible for advanced standing in the MSW program have received a BSW within the past five years. Students without a BSW within the past five years are eligible for regular standing admission.
