Innovative thinkers thrive as interior designers. In IUP's interior design program, you'll master the core concepts of this field while acquiring essential skills for a rewarding career.

Your coursework will include Drafting for Construction I and II, Color Theory and Application, Interior Lighting, Materials and Finishes, plus specialized Studio classes covering commercial spaces, homes, and kitchen/bath projects. The curriculum emphasizes Computer-Aided Design (CAD) alongside studies of both historical and contemporary design. Complementing your major requirements, you'll take business and art electives to develop well-rounded expertise. An internship opportunity is strongly encouraged.
