The department provides Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Master of Arts (MA), and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degrees in Interior Design.
The program focuses on teaching students to apply design methodologies for innovative solutions in interior environments, considering human safety, functionality, and psychological, physical, and contextual compatibility. Interior design graduates gain expertise in visual communication (including sketching, drafting, and CAD), space planning, lighting and color coordination, material and furniture selection, interior construction detailing, and human-centered design principles. The program holds accreditation from the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA), ensuring professional education standards. Transfer students with prior studio coursework must submit a portfolio for credit evaluation. All students must present their portfolio during admission and before class registration, coordinated through department advisors.
