As an Asian Studies student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, you'll gain a well-rounded education encompassing diverse subjects related to the planet's largest, most populous, and culturally rich continent.
This program requires studying an Asian language, with options including Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Hindi, and Korean. You'll also curate courses from various departments to develop a multifaceted understanding of Asian societies. Potential course offerings range from Japanese Art to East Asian Geography, Modern Chinese History, Middle Eastern Political Systems, and Indian Religions.
Given the interdisciplinary nature of Asian Studies, pairing it with a minor or second major is advisable.
