The robust curriculum includes a complete series of classes in conducting, choral repertoire, rehearsal methods, and score analysis, complemented by weekly one-on-one sessions with faculty. You'll apply your knowledge through hands-on experience as both a conductor and educator. Throughout the program, you'll frequently lead recitals and assist faculty conductors with choral ensembles. Additional opportunities include directing rehearsals, sectional practices, and occasionally conducting pieces for faculty performances.
