Keep pace with the latest advancements in education by pursuing an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership. This program equips you for leadership roles across various environments, including public and private schools, state education departments, regional educational service agencies, and professional organizations at state and national levels. The curriculum incorporates faculty-guided research and practical fieldwork within school districts. You'll gain extensive hands-on experience to translate classroom knowledge into solutions for actual educational challenges. A minimum of two years of teaching experience is required for program admission.
A baccalaureate (bachelor’s) degree, requiring four years of full-time study or equivalent, from a college or university holding full regional or national accreditation, is required for admission to all graduate programs. Applicants with a bachelor's degree from an institution holding only state accreditation may be granted conditional admission if their other application credentials are strong. Applicants in the last semester of a four-year undergraduate program may be granted conditional admission until such time as the baccalaureate degree has been awarded.
Applicants whose native language is not English should submit proof of such proficiency by the time they apply for admission. Normally this is done by taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Results of this test should be submitted as part of the application for admission.
