IU's Clinical Science Program primarily aims to educate students to become clinical psychology researchers capable of enhancing fundamental understanding, utilizing this knowledge to solve clinical issues, and sharing insights with others. These three program aspects are viewed as interconnected rather than distinct. While clinical researchers often combine investigation, practical implementation, and knowledge sharing within single projects, we define program graduates as accomplished clinical scientists when they demonstrate excellence in any one of these areas. Our training approach is grounded in the belief that thorough clinical science education shapes how both current students and graduates approach work in these fields.
