Our BSN Traditional track is tailored for students working toward their first bachelor's degree. This innovative, concept-driven program equips you for a nursing career through exposure to healthcare advancements and outstanding clinical experiences. You'll engage in interprofessional education (collaborating with students from various health disciplines) and utilize advanced simulation technology. The evidence-based techniques you'll master represent the gold standard in patient and family care, establishing a solid groundwork for leadership roles and advanced studies. IUPUI and IU Bloomington students have additional options to join honors programs or conduct honors research. Upon graduation, you'll be prepared to: Apply critical thinking and evidence-based approaches to clinical decision-making. Deliver comprehensive, culturally aware care to individuals, families, communities, and populations. Organize and optimize healthcare resources across various settings to address evolving patient needs. Navigate and account for healthcare policies, financial considerations, and regulatory frameworks in practice. Perform professionally and competently in diverse clinical environments. Uphold nursing's core values through ethical and lawful practice. Foster effective communication and teamwork among healthcare professionals, patients, and support networks. Applicant must have completed a diploma from an accredited high school (or must have completed the Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma)
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 79 on internet-based test, 550 on paper-based test, IELTS score of 6.5 and PTE score of 53.
