The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is available as an intensive 15-month, on-campus accelerated program designed for individuals who already possess a bachelor's or higher degree in another field. Prospective students must gain university admission before applying to the nursing program. Note that university admission doesn't guarantee acceptance into the nursing major. This demanding curriculum integrates theoretical and clinical nursing instruction with essential support classes, Foundational Studies coursework, and electives. Upon completion, graduates qualify to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam to become registered nurses. Our nursing faculty is committed to delivering exceptional hands-on learning experiences through innovative course structures, clinical rotations, and community service initiatives. On-campus housing options include specialized accommodations for nursing students.
The BSN program serves as the fundamental educational requirement for professional nursing. Graduates emerge as well-rounded practitioners ready for entry-level leadership positions after passing the NCLEX-RN. Furthermore, this degree establishes the groundwork for advanced nursing education. BSN-prepared registered nurses enjoy diverse career prospects across healthcare institutions, where their advanced training and clinical skills are highly valued. These nurses handle sophisticated patient care duties, oversee nursing staff, and work alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams to create, execute, and assess comprehensive treatment plans for patients of all ages in various clinical environments.
