Create meaningful change for children and families. The Child and Family Practice specialization addresses four critical social challenges: mental health issues, domestic violence, economic hardship, and addiction. You'll broaden your expertise across multiple practice domains. Our hands-on agency approach lets you implement classroom knowledge directly with families and children. This practical training teaches you to design, provide, and oversee client-centered services. Advanced Standing admission is available for students who earned a CSWE-accredited BSW degree within the past eight years. International social work graduates aren't eligible for Advanced Standing. Applicants should indicate Advanced Standing qualifications on their application, which we verify through transcript review and CSWE accreditation checks. All standard university and program admission criteria still apply for Advanced Standing candidates.
