Key competencies include crafting business plans, managing finances with accounting software, strategic financial planning, effective business communication, utilizing spreadsheets, applying business mathematics, overseeing teams, marketing strategies, and e-commerce operations, all of which are crucial for small business ownership and management. Administrative professionals are responsible for organizing and sustaining all office operations. They must possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, along with strong Internet research capabilities and communication abilities. Administrative office assistants should be adaptable, have outstanding interpersonal and project coordination skills, and collaborate effectively with internal management, staff, external clients, and suppliers. Accounting technicians carry out tasks involving computations, record-keeping, and verification of financial data using spreadsheets, databases, and accounting programs. Qualification Requirements

Freshman applicants must submit official secondary school mark sheets and diploma. Mailed documents must be originals or copies certified by the school principal or controller of examinations and sealed in a school envelope. Documents not in English must be translated by a certified translator. Official transcripts are also accepted by email if sent directly from the school principal or registrar. Students who do not meet minimum English proficiency requirements may apply for conditional admission, during which time they will need to be enrolled in an intensive English program, such as ISU’s IEI program, in preparation for full-time academic study at ISU. Have graduated from a high school or secondary school with satisfactory grades, received a diploma or certificate of graduation, and be eligible for admission to a major university in the country from which they graduated. A grade of “C-” or better must be attained in all required BT program specific courses. If a “C-” or better is not achieved in a required BT class, the student may repeat the class only one time. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 is required for graduation. TOEFL – iBT 61, Paper – 500, Computer – 173, IELTS - 5.5 overall score OR a minimum 5.0 in ALL subscores
