To equip students with the foundational skills needed for entry-level technician and maintenance roles in the electrical and process sectors. Industries such as food processing, mining, semiconductors, chemicals, paper, steel, petroleum, utilities, and manufacturing seek these professionals. Graduates will gain both theoretical understanding and practical expertise in configuring and calibrating electronic instruments for monitoring and regulating temperature, level, flow, pressure, motion, force, humidity, and acidity. They will also be proficient in diagnosing issues with single and three-phase motor controls, basic variable frequency drives, programmable logic controllers, sensors, relays, timers, solenoids, and additional automation equipment.
