Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) need to fulfill at least 120 credit hours, covering essential subjects in Electrical Engineering, Computer Programming, Mathematics, Science, and Liberal Arts. Additionally, they must take elective courses in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, Humanities/Social Sciences, and African-American Studies. Electrical engineers drive innovations in areas like fuel cell technology, hydroelectric and solar power, as well as computers, smartphones, satellite communications, nano-systems, and various interdisciplinary fields. Our curriculum equips students to become engaged and impactful professionals in electronics and electricity, working as researchers, designers, developers, and manufacturers.
