This health education certification program offers two pathways: (1) for individuals holding a teaching certificate in another subject area, or (2) for those without prior teaching certification. Successful completion of either track leads to initial/professional certification in health education. Designed for graduate students, the program equips future educators to teach health at all grade levels in both public and private schools, culminating in New York state teacher certification.
