Undergraduate students meeting eligibility criteria can opt for a dual-degree track, pairing their Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Master of Science in Biology. This accelerated program mandates completing 145 semester hours in total, comprising a minimum of 115 undergraduate hours and 30 graduate hours. The entire program can be finished within five years. Those accepted into the MS component may apply 9-12 approved graduate credits toward both degrees, with department chair, graduate director, or advisor authorization. These credits supplement the 115 undergraduate hours, resulting in at least 124 total hours for the BS degree.

Secondary school transcript: Your complete 9, 10, and 11th grade transcript and official translation in English, or any national exam or government certificates earned.
Incoming first-year students entering Hofstra may apply for direct admission to this dual-degree program. Applicants must have a combined SAT score (in critical reading and mathematics) of 1240 (or an ACT score of 25) and an overall high school GPA of 3.5 (or be in the top 15 percent of their high school graduate class) in order to be considered for admission. Students admitted directly to the dual-degree program as incoming freshmen will be admitted automatically to the MS program in integrative biology at the end of their junior year provided they fulfill the following requirements:
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a GPA of 3.0 in biology courses at the time of application to the MS program, or upon completion of 92 s.h. of course work toward their BS degree in biology.
TOEFL, internet-based-TOEFL (IBT) - Score of 80 or higher
IELTS - 6.5 or higher
