The Associate of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice equips students for careers in corrections, juvenile justice, investigations, private security, homeland security, or forensic analysis. This program also provides a pathway for transferring to four-year institutions to pursue bachelor's degrees. Individuals who have completed law enforcement training may be eligible for credit toward this degree. Students can choose from multiple specialization tracks aligned with their professional aspirations, including fingerprint analysis, private investigation, victim support services, and criminal intelligence. Important dates: Fall term deadline - June 1; Spring term deadline - October 15
To be eligible for admission to an associate degree program at HCC, applicants must have the equivalent of one of the following: high school equivalency certificate (GED), Associate or higher degree, standard high school diploma.
