Criminal justice professionals operate in a fast-paced environment where they serve communities and investigate cases, demanding a steady stream of skilled leaders to ensure public safety while tackling challenging responsibilities like promoting accountability and combating systemic racism.
This program examines all aspects of criminal justice, from societal factors influencing criminal activity to assessing government policies. We equip students for careers in policing, social services, global conflict resolution, and similar fields.

Students analyze criminal psychology and master legal system navigation. The curriculum also covers investigative methods, forensic science tools, and digital threats including the escalating worldwide issue of cybercrime.

Practical experience elevates our program. A dedicated internship advisor supports professional development. Past students have gained hands-on experience through placements with various law enforcement agencies, the Connecticut Juvenile Justice Alliance, the federal witness protection program, and other prestigious organizations.
