The Early Childhood (EC) Concentration equips you for diverse careers in early childhood education, including positions as teachers, preschool administrators, curriculum designers, education technology innovators, foundation program managers, policy researchers, counselors, and advocates. Alongside your peers, you'll choose foundational courses covering various aspects of child development (such as language acquisition and emotional intelligence), early childhood policy (both local and international), and professional growth for educators. You'll also join a seminar series connecting you with industry experts, helping you establish valuable professional relationships for future career advancement.

Three Letters of Recommendation
Applicants are required to submit three recommendations using the online application system.
The GRE test is optional for Ed.M. and Ed.L.D. applicants.
If your native language is not English, you must submit the results of the TOEFL or IELTS. You are exempt from this requirement if you have earned a bachelor's degree from an institution at which English was the sole language of instruction.
You are required to upload transcripts from each postsecondary institution that you have attended showing all undergraduate and graduate work (including non-degree classes) in the Academics section of the application.
