The Harvard Neuroscience PhD Program (PiN) is based in Harvard Medical School's Neurobiology Department, established in 1966 as the globe's inaugural research department to adopt a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach to brain study. It unites the university-wide neuroscience community while offering guidance and mentorship to a tight-knit group of students. These scholars conduct doctoral research in Harvard Medical School's Quadrangle labs, affiliated hospitals, and at Harvard's Center for Brain Science under the Faculty of Arts & Sciences in Cambridge.
