The Bachelor of Applied Science in Forest Resource Management equips graduates for immediate careers across various natural resource sectors. Through coursework in mathematics, sciences, English, humanities, and specialized natural resource classes, students gain qualifications for positions in forest management, environmental engineering, aquatic systems, or wildlife conservation. 186 Credits. Through coursework in mathematics, sciences, English, humanities, and specialized natural resource classes, students gain qualifications for positions in forest management, environmental engineering, aquatic systems, or wildlife conservation. Admission requires completion of at least a two-year forestry-related associate degree. Prospective students with some college credits but no degree should consult with a Natural Resources department advisor to create an academic pathway for program eligibility. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA is required for admission to the BAS program. Applicants must submit an entry application and receive acceptance before enrolling in upper-division (300-400 level) courses.
