The AA-T in Elementary Teacher Education program equips students to transfer to a four-year institution with an Associate Degree focused on elementary education. This pathway fulfills lower-division prerequisites, including supervised pre-professional experiences, essential for entering a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Program. Alongside general education coursework, students explore child development principles and foundational teaching methodologies for elementary education. Program Learning Outcomes: Graduates will demonstrate the ability to: implement developmental theories in elementary classroom settings, exhibit basic knowledge of Multiple Subject Credential requirements, and analyze educational history alongside contemporary trends in teaching.
